The Community Art Exhibition is returning to Lakeside Joondalup from Monday 27 May. This popular annual exhibition features artworks created by local residents and members of arts organisations based within the City of Joondalup.
This year will feature a record-breaking 205 artworks, all competing for the following awards:
- Most Outstanding Artwork – $4,000
- Highly Commended – $1,500
- Celebrating Joondalup – $1,500
- Student Award – $750 (for artists in Years 8 – 12)
- Popular Choice – $500
Award winners will be announced on Saturday 1 June.
Artwork Sales
Get something beautiful for your walls and support the local arts community by buying an artwork. All 205 artworks will be available for purchase from Sunday 2 June via the sales desk at the exhibition.
Key Dates for participating artists:
- Artwork drop-off: Sunday 26 May, 11.00am – 2.00pm
- Exhibition on: Monday 27 May – Saturday 15 June
- Award Ceremony: Saturday 1 June, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
- Unsold artwork collection: Sunday 16 June, 11.00am – 2.00pm
