The City of Joondalup is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead one of Western Australia’s most dynamic local governments through its next phase of growth, innovation and transformation.
Internationally recognised for delivering high-quality services, Joondalup is a renowned innovation hub. The City is home to a thriving central business district, a stunning coastline and lake systems, a world-class university, a major health campus, and a vibrant tourism, retail and hospitality sector.
The Chief Executive Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the City’s future, with a key focus on advancing its long-term vision to be a global City: bold, creative, and prosperous. This includes leading strategic planning, supporting economic development and delivering transformational projects that create lasting benefits for the community.
Working closely with Council, the CEO will foster a high-performing, values-driven organisation and build strong relationships with staff, community stakeholders and strategic partners. The role requires an experienced and highly capable leader with a proven track record of delivering strong organisational and community outcomes in complex environments.
This position is offered on a five-year contract, with a competitive Total reward package in accordance with the Salaries and allowances Tribunal Band 1, ranging from $288,727 to $439,682 per annum.
