New, revised and revoked Local Planning Policies

Following the Council Meeting held on Friday 5 December 2025, the following Local Planning Policies have been adopted, revised or revoked:

• Subdivision and Dwelling Development Adjoining Areas of Public Open Space Local Planning Policy (Revoked)
• Development in Housing Opportunity Areas Local Planning Policy (Revoked)
• Residential Development Local Planning Policy – 2021 (Revoked)
• Container Deposit Scheme Infrastructure Local Planning Policy (Minor review)
• Short-term Rental Accommodation Local Planning Policy (Minor review and name change)
• Medium Density Single House Development Standards Local Planning Policy (Minor review)
• Residential Development Local Planning Policy – 2025 (New)
