In accordance with regulation 12(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 and clause 2.2 of the City of Joondalup Meeting Procedures Local Law 2013, a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Wednesday 22 October 2025, commencing at 7.15pm, in the Council Chamber at the Joondalup Civic Centre, Boas Avenue, Joondalup.
The purpose of the meeting is for Council to:
- Elect a Deputy Mayor following the 2025 local government elections.
A second Special Meeting of Council will be held on Monday 3 November 2025, commencing at 6.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Joondalup Civic Centre, Boas Avenue, Joondalup.
The purpose of the meeting is for Council to consider:
- Appointment of Representatives to Regional Councils and The Western Australian Local Government Association North Metropolitan Zone.
- Establishment of Council-Created Committees and Appointments.
- Appointment of Presiding and Deputy Presiding Members to Committees.
- Appointment of Representatives to External Committees and Internal Groups and Panels.
