A community-based self-help program aimed at reducing the incidence of preventable crime and strengthening community relationships through communication and education. Neighbourhood Watch is a program to help neighbours watch out for neighbours - helping you get to know your neighbours, report criminal and suspicious activity and make your property less vulnerable to crime. The Neighbourhood Watch website has crime deterrent information and resources and details on how to contact your local police and provides tips on reducing the vulnerability of your home and family to crime, on personal safety, about security while travelling and other themes.
