English as an Additional Language courses for migrants at various levels of proficiency

Fees

Free to eligible migrants/refugees. Eligibility depends on date of arrival, visa, sub-class etc, needs to checked by AMEP administration.

Referral

Contact by phone 08 9267 7609 or 1800 862 166 or email amep@smtafe.wa.edu.au. Call in at any of our large centres (see website for details). Please supply name (as on visa) and visa number. Please bring passport or travel documents.

Transportation

Bus and train, free parking at some venues.

Volunteer Notes

Interested citizens can volunteer to be an English language tutor for migrants developing their language skills. Training is provided. Please e-mail amep@smtafe.wa.edu for more information.
