Preparing the green waste
- All bulk green waste must be placed loose on the verge (no boxes, bags or containers).
- Bulk green waste is shredded and mulched, therefore, it cannot be contaminated with any other waste. All non-green waste items will be considered as littering.
- Do not place bulk green waste on artificial turf, stencilled paving or near water meters or power domes.
- For small amounts of green waste or loose leaves, place into your lime green lid garden organics bin.
If you missed your bulk green waste collection or can’t wait for your scheduled collection, residents can drop off their garden waste using a green waste tipping voucher. Download green waste vouchers on the City’s webpage.
