Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) disposal

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) refers to the products used in and around the home that are flammable, toxic, explosive or corrosive such as acid, aerosols and paint.

These items can be dropped off in domestic quantities at the permanent drop off facilities, free of charge, seven days a week. The facilities are at Tamala Park Recycling Centre and Recycling Centre Balcatta. View the full list of what you can drop off

This project is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority.

Asbestos can be dropped off at Tamala Park Tip – fees apply. The facility also operates free drop-off for domestic quantities of asbestos every Sunday – conditions apply.
