Birthing kit assembly day to celebrate the Birthing Kit Foundation's 20th Anniversary

Zonta Perth is seeking volunteers to help assemble 600 birthing kits that will support safer births and help save the lives of mothers and newborns. The Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) works to improve birth conditions for women in resource-limited settings by providing clean, essential supplies. Each kit costs less than a cup of coffee yet plays a vital role in reducing infection and preventable deaths.

Every year, more than 300,000 women die from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth—most in developing countries where access to basic medical care is limited.
