Calling all new club leadership

The City of Joondalup Sport and Recreation Team is hosting a Clubs in Focus - Club Development workshop aimed at recently appointed committee members within City of Joondalup based sporting clubs. This workshop has been designed as essential training for usage of City of Joondalup venues.

This session will cover:

• City of Joondalup booking processes – seasonal and casual facility bookings, key timelines and requirements.
• Sports lighting – usage guidelines, responsibilities and troubleshooting.
• Sports ground and pitch management – field setup, maintenance considerations and communication channels.
• General club operations – helpful reminders, updates, and best‑practice advice for usage of City venues.

This workshop is ideal for:

• Newly elected or appointed committee members.
• Existing committee members who would like a refresher.
• Coaching coordinators or coaches.
• Any club representatives wanting to strengthen their operational knowledge.
