Communities in-focus: Committee succession planning

The City of Joondalup invites community group committee members - and those interested in finding out more - to attend a presentation from Volunteering WA on succession planning.

This session will cover: 

• What is succession planning is; including what happens when key members leave and what you have in place to keep everything on track.
• Why succession planning is important.
• Challenges to succession planning.
• How to develop a succession plan; identifying key positions and skills, structure, volunteer roles, education and training and frameworks to use.

Light refreshments will be provided.
