Our evidence-based course ‘Exploring Burnout & Activating Self-Care’ can assist individuals in creating values and a practice that focuses on wellbeing. This training covers stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue; including exploration of signs, symptoms, prevention strategies, and accessing support. Participants will investigate the different aspects of self-care, reflecting on its importance in their life whilst activating a self-care plan.
This training will cover:
- what is considered stress, compassion fatigue and burnout?
- the contributing factors, signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue
- the impact of long-term stress and burnout
- ways to prevent and manage stress, compassion fatigue and burnout
- what are practices that can support your wellbeing?
- what is genuine self-care and why it is important?
