Royal Life Saving WA is offering a free water safety program for adults aged 55 years and over.
Aqua Skills 55+ is a practical and engaging four-week program designed to build confidence in the water, improve safety awareness and support older adults to maintain a healthy, independent and active lifestyle. Participants will develop essential aquatic skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Older Australians are sadly overrepresented in drowning statistics. Over the past decade, 736 older adults have drowned, with 115 lives lost in 2024/25 alone.
This program addresses a vital need in the community, and we aim to remove any barriers to participation by covering all associated costs with participation.

- Friday 1 May : 9:30–11am (pool session)
