Tchéga: Créole Folk

Tuck a hibiscus flower behind your ear because this colourful and carefree band are set to whisk you away to the Indian Ocean islands with their Creole folk music. 

Hailing from Reunion Island, singer-songwriter Carole Katz crafts songs that call upon the tropical sounds she grew up with. Think vibrant beats and sunny melodies inspired by the Indian Ocean. 

Paired with the catchy drum rhythms of Tao Issaro, the funky bass lines of Nathan Joseph, gorgeous guitar work from Ridge Moss and some saucy sax from Adrien Joseph, this fun-loving band are sure to bring the feel-good island vibes. 

Sunday Serenades Event Information

• Venue: All concerts are held in the Redmond Theatre at Prendiville Catholic College, located at 11 Prendiville Ave, Ocean Reef. 
• Parking: A small number of standard and ACROD bays are located directly outside the theatre, with additional parking available on the nearby tennis courts.
• Concert times: All concerts start at 2pm and run for 60 minutes. Doors open at 1.45pm.
• Seating:  All concert seating is unallocated, so sit wherever you like. All seats offer a clear view of the stage.
• Accessibility: Redmond Theatre features a flat entry with wheelchair accessible seating area. We encourage you to reach out to discuss additional accessibility requirements.
• Companion tickets: Ticket purchases made by a valid Companion Cardholder are eligible to receive an additional ticket for a carer or companion at no charge. Simply add the ‘companion’ ticket type to your cart when booking and enter your companion card number when prompted. Please note that companion tickets must be booked in conjunction with a fee-paying ticket.
• Community Transport Program: The City offers a low-cost Community Transport Program to assist patrons who need support getting to and from the concerts. To find out more, please contact the City on 9400 4000
• Cancellation policy: If a show is rescheduled or cancelled all ticketholders will be eligible for a refund. Any such changes will be communicated via email and on the City of Joondalup website. In all other circumstances, tickets are not refundable. If you can no longer attend a concert, you are welcome to gift your tickets to a friend of family member.
