With the aim of providing a safer community and further protect residential property from the impact of unplanned bushfires, the City are planning (subject to weather conditions) to conduct a Bushfire Hazard Reduction Burn this Monday 18 May within 2.6 ha of bushland at Hepburn Conservation Area.
Nearby residents are reminded to turn off air conditioner fans and keep water running over the filters during the burn and remove flammable items, such as coir door mats, from balconies and patios.
