Community Funding Program - Information session 1

The Community Funding Program 2026-27 Round 1 is open from Monday 3 August to Friday 28 August 2026. 

The program provides financial support to incorporated community groups to conduct projects, programs, events or activities that benefit the City of Joondalup community by addressing one or more of the funding priorities:

• Strengthen community participation.
• Encourage connected communities.
• Promote healthy and active lifestyles.
• Build resilient and sustainable communities.

Both large grants (over $10,000) and small grants ($10,000 or under) will be available this round.

To support applications, the City is running two Community Funding Information Sessions: 

• Session 1 – Tuesday 21 July 2026, 5.30-7:00pm, Joondalup Library ground floor meeting room (102 Boas Avenue, Joondalup)
• Session 2 – Thursday 23 July, 1:00-2:30pm, Joondalup Library ground floor meeting room (102 Boas Avenue, Joondalup)

Both sessions will provide information on the program and advice on how prepare and write a competitive grant application. Community Funding specialists will be available to answer any of your application questions.

The session is free, but registration is required. Light refreshments provided.
