Officiating Joondalup Festival’s three-week foray is FEAST, an exclusive First Nations-led shared dining, drinking and dancing experience.

FEAST’s recently announced headline act is proud Noongar electro-pop visionary, Boox Kid – fresh off Perth Festival’s East Perth Powerstation stage. Four hours of live performances also feature the haunting gospel fusion from Lilly Gogos, the founder of dance-hall Indigenous pop powerhouse ‘The Merindas’.

The long table degustation plates up three courses of traditional-inspired ingredients by Aboriginal-owned and operated All Good Grub. Think nutrient rich desert quandong (native peach), muntries (emu-apples), and Eucalyptus holiday (strawberry gum).

The open bar drinks package features Munda Wines who combine Indigenous knowledge with modern viticulture and Spinifex Brewing Co who offer unique beers infused with local WA flavours.

Come twilight, Saturday 15 March, strangers will become neighbours atop the open-aired terraced concourse of the Joondalup Library celebrating the rich and enduring Indigenous culture which connects us all.
