It’s not everyday that someone has their engagement photos taken in the library, but that’s exactly what happened on Saturday 2 August!

Stella and Aidan’s love story took a charming turn when they chose an unexpected but sentimental location for their engagement photos – Whitford Library.

Aidan had proposed to Stella at home in the most romantic way, lining the hallway with flower petals and candles, and popping the question in their living room to Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling in Love

When it came time to capture their engagement, Stella took to Pinterest for inspiration and remembered the whimsical children’s area at Whitford Library, a place close to her heart where she spent many childhood hours with her grandmother. This cozy, storybook vibe was the perfect match for their whimsical wedding theme.

Their beautiful engagement photos are a celebration of imagination and the quiet magic of libraries, a place where stories begin, and theirs continues to unfold.

Stella’s favourite  books:

•    Rooms by Lauren Oliver
•    The Prison Healer Trilogy by Lynette Noni
•    The Plater Prisoner by Raven Kennedy
•    The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare

Aidan’s favourite books:

•    Scarecrow, The Five Greatest Warriors by Matthew Reilly
•    The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson
•    Deltora Quest by Jennifer Rowe
•    The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
