The cooler weather has failed to slow down the progress on the Duncraig Adventure Hub.

As of late-May 2025, more than 1,700 sqm of concrete and 1,400 sqm of asphalt surfaces had been poured with over 210 metres of stormwater drainage pipe and 3,580 metres of electrical conduit installed underground.

The Lotterywest Bike Hub’s asphalt surface is down and the large concrete pads for the roller disco plaza and mixed-use basketball and netball courts are in place.

The giant combination play structure – a feature of the Sensory Monsters Playground – was installed in early-June. This area also features a huge limestone sculpture of Squishy, a Sensory Monster who is the centrepiece of the playground’s water play area.

Construction of the community classroom shelter structure is well underway, and the Lotterywest Skate Hub continues to take shape, while more than 100 native trees are being planted during winter to take advantage of the rain.
