The City of Joondalup is proud to be taking part in Lifeblood’s Local Government Blood Drive from 1 April-30 June 2026, and all eligible residents are invited to get involved.
This nationwide initiative has a powerful local impact, supporting hospitals, emergency services and families right here in our community.
One in three Australians will rely on donated blood in their lifetime. In the City of Joondalup, that’s close to 58,000 people who may one day need the generosity of donors.
And every donation has the power to save up to three lives, making this one of the most meaningful ways to support your community.
Whether it’s for cancer treatment, surgery, trauma care, pregnancy and childbirth or chronic conditions, blood and plasma donations are essential to keeping our community healthy and supported.
By joining the Local Government Blood Drive, you’re contributing to a collective effort that directly benefits people in our City.
Residents of all experience levels are welcome, whether you’ve been donating for years or you’re considering it for the first time, and every contribution counts toward our community goal.
