Step into a world of roaring dinosaurs, amazing science, and hands-on adventures as Little Feet Festival returns for 2025. We’re bringing the fun to Joondalup’s Edith Cowan University on Sunday 26 October for a day where curiosity and fun collide.
With a reputation as Perth's major children's festival, Little Feet Festival attracts more than 5,000 patrons each year. From curious toddlers to adventurous teens, we’ve something for everyone and it’s all completely FREE!
On our main stage, experience the award-winning Dinosaur Time Machine and get up close with a towering T-Rex as palaeontology comes to life through puppetry, circus, and theatre. The excitement keeps going with the Baby Dinosaur Show, where crowd favourites like Razor the Raptor will have everyone dancing to catchy tunes.
Beyond the stage shows, visitors can star in The Curious Game, a show like no other where the world of fairytales and board games collide and the audience become the show - featuring a bossy Queen, a silly knight and a pawn with a touch of cunning.
Meanwhile, Dr Curio presents The Culbuto, a sculptural interactive street theatre piece inspired by the roly-poly toy. Part installation, part performance, the Culbuto invites curiosity, surprise and delight as it blurs the line between object and character in a playful exploration of movement and connection.
Keep your eyes peeled for roving performers including the lost Oztronauts from A Space Oddity, whimsical Butterfly Catchers, and the beats of African Drummers.
This year we’re bringing you mind-blowing science experiments like CO₂ rockets, bubble-ology, and elephant’s toothpaste. Visit Volcano Valley for fizzing eruptions or peer through magnifying glasses to discover fascinating resin insects at the Nature Discovery Station and make your own take-home treasures with air clay creations, fossil making, and slime time.
Festival-goers can have an out of world experience hosted by St Stephen’s School - the Solar System Explorers features an interactive and immersive experience featuring giant inflatable planets. Kids can explore the solar system with their special space passports, collecting stamps at each station while learning fun facts about the universe.
Adventurers can also navigate the colourful Rainbow Maze, build epic structures with giant Big Blue Blocks, and excavate dinosaur bones. Along the way, you’ll encounter Theropod skeletons, baby Sauropods, and more…
Mark your calendars - Little Feet Festival 2025 returns beneath the pines at ECU Joondalup on Sunday 26 October, 10am-3pm, with five hours of non-stop family fun. Your curious adventure awaits!
