Patricia has been part of our library family for years, swapping between Joondalup and Whitford libraries depending on her plans for the day. Popping in every couple of weeks to swap her books and DVDs, Patricia is always on the lookout for the next great read and watch!
Patricia is a big fan of self-help books, especially books by Mel Robbins, the author of the best-seller Let Them. She has reserved Let Them and is looking forward to reading it. Her husband is also a keen reader and enjoys a good science read, especially books by Dr Karl.
But it’s not just books. Patricia’s also a DVD queen! She’s into courtroom dramas, war films, and anything with a bit of action, such as Homeland, The Americans, Jack Reacher, and of course, Top Gun: Maverick. No chick flicks for Patrica! She also enjoyed the Australian series, A Place to call Home.
Patricia used to bring her grandkids to our weekly Rhyme Time sessions and is so pleased they are still avid readers.
Researching family history is another of Patricia’s passions, and she has traced her family back for generations. She hopes to one day come along to one of our Family History sessions, but we think she probably doesn’t need to!
