National simultaneous story time

Families are invited to join is for National simultaneous story time at all four branches from Monday 19 - Saturday 24 May at 10am.

Every year a picture book written and illustrated by an Australian author is read simultaneously in libraries and schools around the country. This year's special book is The Truck Cat written by Deborah Frenkle, illustrated by Danny Snell.

The Truck Cat is a story about cars and humans, immigration and identity, and homes lost and found.

Visit the libraries for story time all week, where we will feature this wonderful book and celebrate the joy of reading.
