The City has launched a new marketing campaign, Right call. Right response, to help residents understand who to contact in different situations.
The campaign explains when to call emergency services, police or the City’s Community Safety team—ensuring urgent matters receive immediate attention and the right support is provided every time.
Emergencies or situations where lives are at risk should always be reported by calling 000
For non-urgent police matters, residents should contact 131 444
For local issues such as parking concerns, animal matters and littering, residents can contact the City’s Community Safety team on 9400 4000
The City’s Field Officers play a vital role in the community, responding quickly to everyday issues and helping maintain safe, well-managed neighbourhoods.
By directing calls to the appropriate service, the campaign helps reduce pressure on emergency lines while ensuring residents receive timely and effective assistance.
