Parks and reserves
The City maintains in excess of 300 parks and reserves, for the use and enjoyment of residents, sporting clubs and community organisations.
The City’s recreational parkland areas are great for family picnics and barbecues or just to relax and walk the dog (dogs are permitted at most of the City’s parks).
Sports parks are used by a wide range of sporting codes and activities. Parks can be booked for sporting fixtures, community events and casual use. Conditions apply and applications need to be made for hire.
The City has a range of beautiful parks for weddings, or simply for a picnic, barbecue and a playground for the kids.
Camping is not permitted within City parks and reserves.
