Grants and Funding (Sport and Recreation)
The City recognises that funding can significantly boost the delivery of programs and activities for your club. To assist, the City has a new community funding program coming soon.
KidSport – assistance to contribute towards the cost of registration fees for children to participate in sport and recreation clubs.
Please note that the Community Funding Program is currently on hold while the City undertakes a review of its grant programs and is intended to be re-launched in early 2022. The Community Funding Program Policy has recently been updated.
Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund – assistance for local clubs to develop or upgrade sporting or recreation infrastructure.
Club Funded Facility Upgrades – for local sporting clubs looking to do a facility project at their own cost.
The City’s Sport and Recreation team can also assist your club in identifying and applying for external grants.
