Opening Hours

Many issues have been considered when deciding to re-open the City of Joondalup Libraries, such as the need to ensure equity of access to the library, and maintaining hygiene of public areas. Returned library items also need to be quarantined for 24-hours before being available for loan. Therefore, the City of Joondalup Libraries will open to the public in stages.

Tuesday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Wednesday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday 9.30am – 1.00pm
Sunday Closed
Libraries will be closed on all public holidays. View all library times including temporary changes.
 

About

Joondalup Library is the busiest public library in Western Australia. Joondalup Library opened its doors in 1997 as part of a civic and administration centre. Since then it has been proudly serving Joondalup’s community, providing access to meeting rooms, technology and a vast range of books, DVDs, CDs and other formats, just to name a few.

Reference Library

Located on the lower ground floor within the Joondalup Library, the Reference area houses a large collection suitable for students and researchers of all ages.

Local History Library

Joondalup Library houses the purpose-built Local History areas on the lower ground floor.
