Public Art: Untitled, Stone Floor Inlay, 1998

This artwork located in the foyer of the City’s Civic Building draws it’s inspiration from a journal entry by the explorer George Gray who led one of the first European expeditions into the district in 1838. Concentric bands of stone include the indigenous names of the wetlands between Joondalup and Perth.
