Public Health Plan 2026-2031

The City's Public Health Plan 2026-2031 (the Plan) has been developed by the City of Joondalup to support the health and wellbeing of our community.

The Plan was developed in consideration of legislative requirements and the State Public Health Plan for Western Australia 2025-30.

The City already plays a significant role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the community through the wide range of services, facilities and activities it provides. These include parks and public open spaces, the provision and maintenance of infrastructure that supports active and healthy living, support for community organisations and sporting clubs, administration of regulatory functions such as food safety and animal control, cultural events, library programs and services and many other initiatives that contribute to community wellbeing.

The Plan will guide how the City supports public health and wellbeing through three key focus areas:

  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Active and healthy living
  • Environmental health and resilience.
