Bushland – Page 2 – City of Joondalup

Shepherds Bush Reserve is classified as a major conservation area and is ranked in the City of Joondalup’s top five bushland areas due to its high biodiversity values. The reserve covers approximately 17 hectares of bushland and is a great place for a nature walk.

Hepburn Heights Conservation Area

Hepburn Heights Conservation Area is classified as a major conservation area and is ranked in the City of Joondalup’s top five bushland areas due to its high biodiversity values. The reserve covers approximately 22 hectares of bushland and is a great place for a nature walk with some lovely views.

Craigie Bushland

Craigie Bushland is classified as a major conservation area and is ranked in the City of Joondalup’s top five bushland areas due to its high biodiversity values, including the Banksia Woodlands Threatened Ecological Community.

The reserve covers approximately 56 hectares of bushland and includes a permanent fenced area of approximately 42 hectares. Quenda, a small native marsupial listed as a Priority 4 fauna species as they are in need of monitoring live within the fenced area.

Lilburne Park

Lilburne Park is classified as a major conservation area and is ranked in the City of Joondalup’s top five bushland areas due to its high biodiversity values. The reserve covers approximately 5 hectares of bushland and is a great place for a nature walk.

The facility was constructed in 2023 and consists of a medium sized meeting room, kitchen amenities, toilets, change rooms and user group storage.
