Community Funding Program
The Community Funding Program provides financial support to incorporated community groups to conduct projects, programs, events or activities that benefit the City of Joondalup community.
Applications for the current round of funding are open until Friday 29 August 2025.
Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery
Gallery Hire Program
The Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery – Gallery Hire Program provides local artists, collectives, and community organisations with the opportunity to present their work in a professional gallery setting. Located in the heart of the Joondalup City Centre, the Gallery offers a highly visible and welcoming space for audiences to experience the diversity of local creative practice.
Invitation Art Prize
The Invitation Art Prize is an annual $25,000 acquisitive award for professional WA artists.
Entries for the 2025 Invitation Art Prize have closed and the selected artists will be announced in April 2025. The 2025 exhibition will be held 16 October–13 December.

Community Art Exhibition
The Community Art Exhibition is an annual showcase of our community's arts talent. It's open to all local residents and members of local arts organisations.
Entries for the next Community Art Exhibition will open in early 2026. Make sure you're subscribed to Arts in Focus for updates.
Visual Arts Commission
Every two years we commission a WA artist to create an artwork for our collection that reflects the social, urban, cultural or natural attributes of Joondalup in their own unique style.
Applications for the Visual Arts Commission will reopen in 2026.

Arts Development Scheme
The Arts Development Scheme offers funding up to $50,000 for professional performing arts organisations to bring a project to the region for local audiences.
Please note that the Arts Development Scheme is currently under review and will not be available in 2025.
