Aboriginal Art Workshop

Join Gija and Yamaji artist Deborah Bonar for a creative and culturally engaging Aboriginal art workshop exploring storytelling through contemporary painting practices.

Participants will learn about Aboriginal art techniques, symbolism and creative expression while creating their own individual canvas artwork to take home. Guided by Deborah’s experience as an artist and facilitator, the session combines painting with storytelling and cultural learning.

This event is part of the City's 2026 NAIDOC Week celebrations. Check out our full program of events here.
