Dawn Flow | Joondalup Festival 2026

Start your day with calm, clarity and connection as Joondalup Festival presents Dawn Flow, a series of blissful sunrise yoga sessions led by wellness experts from Craigie Leisure Centre.

There's something magical about practising by the water as the world wakes up around you, especially with Ilotopie's ethereal Crystal People installation as your backdrop. The fresh morning air, the gentle sounds of the lake, the soft light of dawn breaking across the water, the supportive energy of fellow early risers, it all combines into an experience that feeds your soul as much as your body.

Each hour-long class blends gentle stretches, mindful movement and guided breathing, flowing into a peaceful meditation. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, grounded and ready for the day ahead.

Join a single session or make it your Sunday ritual throughout March. All you need is your yoga mat or towel and your water bottle.

Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Modifications and alternatives will be offered throughout the class to accommodate different ability levels.

Venue and access

The sessions are held on the grass near the northern lake at Sir James McCusker Park, Corner Serena Way & Naturaliste Boulevard, Iluka. Limited free parking is available around the park perimeter and in a small car park off Silver Sands Drive, or catch the 470 bus from Joondalup train station.

The location is generally accessible via paved paths and maintained grass; however, participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the ground.
