City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 years and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining. Ticket sales open at 9am on Monday 13 April.

Though he did not walk through the gates of Fremantle Prison, many a man and woman did, right up until November 1991.
Come along and learn about (or revisit) the historic hallways of this world heritage listed convict site in a one hour tour. There is also the possibility of a brief group talk about the history of the Fremantle markets or you can freely explore them before the bus departs at 1pm.
- 8:45am - meet at Whitford Library to depart 9am
- 10am - one hour guided tour followed by free time to further explore Fremantle and to purchase refreshments at nearby establishments. Possible Fremantle Markets history talk.
- 1pm - depart on bus
Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library and prison tour.
