Discovery Outbound - Guildford History Tour

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 years and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

The Swan Guildford Historical Society are ready to show you around the lovely heritage precinct of Guildford near the Visitor Centre. 

With the old gaol, family cottage, wash house and an exhibition to explore, you will have a wonderful morning stepping back in time to the days of yore. Finish off the morning with lunch at one of the nearby cafes or pubs - including the oldest pub in WA The Rose and Crown (booked and paid for separetely as you choose) - before heading back to Whitford Library on the bus. 

  • 8:50am - meet at Whitford Library to depart 9:05am
  • 10am - one hour guided tour followed by free time to further explore the local surrounds of Guildford and to purchase refreshments at nearby establishments.  
  • 1pm - depart on bus.

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library and tour.
