Joondalup Libraries and Dymocks Karrinyup are delighted to host author Holden Sheppard's book launch of Yeah the Boys, sequel to Invisible Boys.
From invisible boy to multi-award-winning Australian novelist, Holden Sheppard has never fit the classic author sterotypes. A country boy, a weighlifter and a self-confessed "bromosexual", Holden found literary acclaim with the raw, blokey honesty of his contemporary fiction.
About the book
A powerful follow‑up to Invisible Boys, this novel reunites Charlie, Zeke and Hammer seven years after leaving their rural hometown. Now young men, each is struggling to define himself—Charlie chasing a fading music dream, Zeke searching for purpose in a gay footy team, and Hammer navigating fame while still closeted in the AFL.
