Sustainable gift giving

Join us for the workshop and discover how to find the perfect gift without impacting the planet or your budget.

In this hands-on workshop, Shani from Ecoburbia will share practical tips for giving thoughtful gifts with less environmental impact. Learn how to choose gifts that reflect the recipient's interests and values and explore creative ways to use items you already have at home instead of buying something new. 

This workshop will also explore different gift-giving preferences. Would your family and friends appreciate a handmade gift, an act of service or quality time spent together? Come along to discover sustaonable alternatives that are both meaningful and memorable. 

Participants will have the oppoortunity to create cards and gifts to take home. Please bring one or more of the following items:

• An old T-shirt to turn into a reusable shopping bag.
• A clean jar, such as a jam jar, to take home a sample of unfused salt.
• An old teacup or mug to create a succulent gift.
