Join the Friends of Yellagonga Park for a rewarding morning of native planting at their Tanah Close site. This event is open to all ages and no experience is needed, just a willingness to get your hands dirty for the environment!
A delicious morning tea will be provided by Friends of Yellagonga following the planting activity.
Location: Tanah Close site, Yellagonga Regional Park (parking on the verge of Goollelal Drive)
What to bring:
- long pants, closed-in shoes, hat/cap, and gloves (gumboots if you have them)
- your favourite clean weeding tool
- water bottle, sunblock, and insect repellent
- a rain jacket (just in case – we plant in the rain, but not in storms)
On arrival:
Please sign in to ensure you are covered under DBCA volunteer insurance. First time volunteering at a FOY site? Let Guy know so he can provide a quick safety briefing.
We appreciate all the help we can get – young and old. Bring a friend and come make a difference!
