One woman’s story. A state’s transformation.
This powerful multimedia concert celebrates the life and legacy of Edith Cowan — Western Australia’s most pioneering woman and Australia’s first female parliamentarian. Presented by Perth Symphony Orchestra, the performance blends live orchestral music, compelling storytelling, stunning visual projections and special guest appearances from the talented voices of St Stephen's School Stellas Girls Chorus and the magnificent JSO Chorus.
Through music, storytelling and archival imagery, Edith Cowan’s extraordinary journey comes to life. From her tireless advocacy for children’s rights and women’s education to her groundbreaking entry into parliament. This is a moving tribute to courage, equality and lasting social change.
An inspiring experience for lovers of history, music and stories of trailblazing resilience.
