The Spring Events and Programs Guide is now available online, and printed copies will soon be available in all City of Joondalup libraries. You can view the online version here.
Our discovery sessions for spring are wide and varied and include a micro-gardening workshop, a cacti and succulent drawing workshop, yoghurt making, decoupage, Christmas crafts and much more.
We have four exciting Meet the Author events between now and the end of the year.
- Casey Beros – talking about her latest book, Next of Kin
- Deb Jordan – talking about her novel, The River Whispers
- Craig Silvey – talking about the sequel to Runt!
- Judy Nunn – talking about her new novel, Pilbara
To recognise Mental Health Month we are holding four free community sessions focusing on reducing stress, increasing resilience and self-care.
For the new parents, we are holding workshops on cloth nappies and helping babies to sleep.
Stories in the Park will be held every Tuesday in November at some of our favourite parks around the City. We have also introduced a new Holiday Time session at all branches during the school holidays.
The spring events for the popular Discovery Outbound program include a visit to the Araluen Tulip Festival, a visit to Guilderton for lunch and a Morning Melodies at His Majesty’s Theatre.
Our 23 free clubs and groups are always popular, with healthy attendance and lots of fun and laughter across the four branches.
This is a bumper edition, with lots to do at the City of Joondalup Libraries this spring!
