The Western Australian Electoral Commission has officially declared the Election Results of the 2025 Local Government Election held on Saturday 18 October 2025.
Congratulations to Daniel Kingston who was elected Mayor of Joondalup, Christopher May (Central Ward), Adrian Hill (North Ward), Russ Fishwick (South Ward) and John Chester (South East Ward), who have been re-elected to the Joondalup Council, and to Denise Mercer (North Central Ward) and Matthew Count (South West Ward), who have been elected to the Council for the first time.
The results of the Ordinary Election conducted as a postal vote are published in accordance with:
- Section 80(8) of the Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997
- Section 4.77 and 1.7 of the Local Government Act 1995
- Section 3A (2) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996.
