Free and weekend parking
The City of Joondalup is now providing 30 minutes free on street parking within the heart of the City. Please refer to the Meter locations map for further details.
Drivers must ensure they start a parking session in the EasyPark app or via an on-street cash or card meter, to utilise the free time.
Unpaid parking and ACROD bays are available at many of our City facilities, including community spaces, libraries, parks, and along the coastline.
All our street parking and open-air carparks are free on weekends and public holidays, with no time restrictions.
Parking fees and charges
The inner CBD now has more affordable and simplified parking fees – only $2/hr, with the first 30 minutes free, and a 2hr time cap. Outer city areas, only $8/day on street, or $5/day in an open-air carpark.
You can access the Parking fees and charges (PDF) to check the costs associated with parking in various areas of the City.
Important note: It is imperative that drivers check parking signage and ensure they understand the fees and restrictions prior to parking their vehicle. Illegal parking inconveniences other road users and increases the risk of accidents.
