Marmion Avenue Safety Review Karrinyup Road to Ocean Reef Road – Have your say.

Main Roads WA have been reviewing safety and accessibility on Marmion Avenue from Karrinyup Road to Ocean Reef Road, with initial community consultation occurring in 2021.

After much investigation, liaison with the City and other stakeholders, MRWA have arrived at a proposal to improve safety and accessibility at locations identified in the first round of community consultation.  They propose traffic signals at:

• Flinders Avenue, Hillarys
• Seacrest Drive, Sorrento
• Freeman Way, Marmion
• Beach Road (west) in the City of Stirling

Median closures are also proposed for:

• McWhae Road, Hillarys
• Harman Road, Sorrento
• Parnell Avenue, Marmion

Median closures are proposed as a safety measure to reduce the risk of serious right-angle related crashes.
