Learn how to link with government, peak bodies, community champions and stakeholders. It’s all about agility, finding out what resources are available, and what connections you can leverage. This session will unpack a toolkit of practical steps to lift your voice and make a difference.

Followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Tim Grey-Smith with:
- Peter Kenyon OAM – Founder, Bank of Ideas
- Michelle Jenkins – CEO, Community Vision and Leading Aged Services Australia board member
- Jan Standen – Grandparents Rearing Grandchildren, WA Senior of the Year 2022.
The event will include information on the City of Joondalup’s revised Community Funding Program.

Volunteering WA
Volunteering WA is the peak body for volunteering in Western Australia. Their aim is to build strong communities through volunteering and provide a range of resources, services and support so that people in Western Australia are aware of, and understand, the nature and scope of volunteer activities. Their goal is to make a difference by connecting thousands of volunteers to many community organisations across the State.
