Meet the Author – Danielle Laidley

Meet author Danielle Laidley In-conversation with Craig Silvey.
Once an elite footballer and coach, Danielle will share her account of what it’s like to know you don’t fit the body you were born into, and the desperate measures taken to mask the fear of being outed, of losing those you love.

Meet the Author – Dave Warner
Tuesday 20 September, 6.00pm
Woodvale Library

An evening of literature and music.
Dave Warner is an author, musician and screenwriter. Dave first came to national prominence in 1978 with his gold album, Mug’s Game, and his band Dave Warner’s from the Suburbs. He has been named a Western Australian State Living Treasure and has been inducted into the WAMi Rock’n’Roll of Renown. Dave’s debut novel, City of Light, won the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award and is credited as the first contemporary crime novel published in Western Australia. Dave will discuss his eleventh adult novel After the Flood.
The night would not be complete without some signing by Dave accompanied by his guitarist.
