Access and Inclusion Plan
The Disability Services Act 1993 (amended 2004) requires all Local Governments to develop and implement a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) or Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) to ensure people with disabilities have equal access to:
- Facilities
- Events
- Services
- Customer service
- Make complaints
- Participate in consultation
- Employment.
Access and Inclusion Plan 2021/22 – 2023/24
The new City of Joondalup Access and Inclusion Plan 2021/22 – 2023/24 was approved by Council in November 2021. This new AIP will aim to address physical accessibility and social inclusion for everyone visiting, working or living in the City of Joondalup.

Easy English Access and Inclusion Plan
The City of Joondalup now has an Easy English translation of its Access and Inclusion Plan available for residents and visitors of the City.
