Change of cat ownership

If you are selling or giving away your pet you must notify the City within 28 days.

It is an offence to sell or give away a cat that is not registered, microchipped and sterilised.

You can advise of a change of ownership by completing the transfer of ownership form or amending the registration details using the online services.
